4 Pillars of Optimal Health & Covid

       In the recent Covid pandemic situation, many people are suffering from Pre or Post Covid related issues. Most people are affected by health, mental or financial issues.

    But the main issue is related with health. For some, their diseases got worst and for some they lost their life. It's not only the immunity that matters but mainly the lack of Proper Foundation of Health, that matters a lot.

     Here comes the importance of having an Optimal Health.

What is Optimal Health?

   The WHO constitution states: "Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity." - World Health Organization (a)

So Optimal health is an overall wellbeing of above said factors.

How we can achieve an Optimal Health?
      The Solution is,
        Follow the 4 pillars of Optimal Health. 

              

                   1. Regular Exercise
                         2. Positive Attitude
                                 3. Adequate Rest
                                                4. Good Nutrition

    The 4 pillars of Optimal Health are just like the 4 pillars of a building. Lets say, that the building is built above the 4 pillars and the strength & existence of the building depends upon the strength of these 4 pillars. If they they are not strong enough to hold the building, the building will collapse.
    Like that our body is also built on 4 Pillars said above

1. Regular Exercise (Physical Activity)
        It is suggested that atleast have a 20-30 minutes physical activity or exercise for atleast 5 days a week based on the health condition and situations. Walking, Jogging, Yoga. etc can be done.

2. Positive Attitude
        We should maintain a stress free attitude, Otherwise body will release stress hormones and it will be toxic and bad for the body, which invites many diseases too. Breathing Exercises, Listening to melodious or peaceful music, enjoying time with family, trips, reading, prayers, meditation, working for passions etc brings an optimal Attitude

 3. Adequate Rest
        Atleast one should have an Sleep of around 6-8 Hours everyday. The repairing mechanism of the body is done during the resting time. But those who are exploring their passion or behind a remarkable dream can have sleep of around 4-5 hours a day. It's also suggested to have power nap of 15-20 mins in between daytime.

 4. Good Nutrition
            This is the only pillar which we don't have in our control, but it's a choice. Malnutrition (whether Undernourished-Deficiency OR Overnourished-Overweight/Obese) in any form is dangerous
    " .......to maintain good health and prevent malnutrition in all its forms." World Health Organization (b)
                Optimal Nutrition means, we need to give sufficient or optimal levels of nutrients to our body on a daily basis. And we need to Reduce the excess weight or weight causing nutrients like fats or carbohydrates.
            Adding Food Supplements from authenticated & genuine sources along with Food is also a best practice. Because the required sufficient or optimal levels of nutrients may not be available in the required levels in the food we eat.

When we can E A R N these 4 pillars everyday, we can EARN an optimal health for a lifetime...
